Clinical evidence
Does the formula treat cancer?
The claim
Searchers, memoirs, and clinic publicity treat the Hoxsey tonic, paste, and diet as a cancer cure or as a suppressed treatment later vindicated by science.
What the record holds
Reliable clinical evidence does not establish that the complete Hoxsey regimen prevents, treats, or cures cancer. Memorial Sloan Kettering, the National Cancer Institute, and NCCIH frame it as an unproven complementary claim. Ingredient studies and courtroom drama do not substitute for controlled patient outcomes. Do not delay or replace oncology care.
This is the sheet to cite first. A famous controversy can be historically real and still clinically unproven.
